The story below is a true incident that happened a few years ago where a shop took advantage of an old lady who doesn't have a vast knowledge of cars.
My 77 year old grandmother takes her car to K******w Auto Center located at 2**5 M**n S*****n C***t K******w *A 3***4, and requests a basic oil change for her 1998 Grand Marquis. The total invoice amount came to $897.91, which was charged to her credit card. The paper invoice shows not only an oil change, but a vast array of other services apparently performed on the vehicle that nobody requested. After going in to question the auto center about this bill, they indicate that my grandmother requested these services over the phone. It should be noted that my grandmother is not even remotely familiar with the services that she supposedly requested. I was eventually asked to leave the premises of the auto center after requesting a refund for the unwanted services, and was instructed to never return. The K******w police were also called and later indicated that I would be arrested for trespassing if I shall ever return to the premises.
The K******w Auto Center is obviously taking advantage of their customers, specifically the elderly. The behavior of this company is obviously unacceptable, and I would very much like to see them exposed to the public for their unethical business practices.
